Dear Roger, I have in front of me Model "A "News VOL. 51 NO. 1 January - February 2004, and 1 see the question on page 9.

"Do you know the paint code of Brewster Green for a..." This question has come up before, and 1 may have the answer. To be able to get a color, when you don't have a chip, one can use the list of DuPont and PPG numbers that were matched by a longtime automotive paint professional named Jerry Fisher (deceased). These codes are very close matches in current paint systems to the original Model "A" Ford colors. The following may be an answer to a question plaguing many restorers. If you have any question, please let me know.

Please verify the color against the original finish if possible before mixing total amount to be used in restoration.

Thank you for the information you sent me. Although I have not tried all of the formulas you sent me, what I did use was very close. I'll bet I get asked four to five times weekly for formulas for Model "A" colors, now I will have something to refer people to.
